Can i rank a website using free hosting and a free domain name?

I used to think no, but I just found out that one of my blogger blogs has a PR3. It has an n/a for years and suddenly it's a 3. Weird.

Definitely yes!

A blog hosted by blogspot or wordpress is a good example. You can commonly see a blog that ranks well with their targeted keywords using free blog hosting sites.

It's about not reading the question. I'm guilty of it myself from
time to time. You did indeed say, FREE domain and FREE hosting.

But even you better read the fine print. You do not get a free domain
with the free hosting. You either have to have it now, or buy it.

You get the free domain for upgrading to their premium accounts.

You can rank (on google) just about anything except a .co.cc which
was banned.

The free hosting offered by that company is really lacking any
substance.

You'd be better off getting a free blogspot blog. Much better.

Been using a free domain name extension and rank on google page 1,in a competitive keyword.some of my sites are ranking well as well.just do proper seo to your site.

Actually it is hard to get the free domain name,
AND if you are talking about the free sub-domain name with the free web hosting, then absolutely yes, you can get higher rankings in the search engines by using them.
But choose the free sub-domain at your own risk,
Who Knows Google deindex all the pages of that domain from their index tomorrow, here is the news Co.Cc Domains Deindex From SERP Google | Tutorial, Tips, Trick, Info. and After co.cc, Now co.tv Deindex from Google serp | Tutorial, Tips, Trick, Info. .
