Hi there, I just wanna confirm something here, because it seems like some sources said that we shouldn't add affiliates links (such as amazon, clickbank etc) as soon as website created but its better to wait until several weeks to add those links.. is that true?? or we just add affiliate links as soon as possible? Thx for the replies |

I can't see how adding the affiliate links straight away would hurt. They are just links remember. If Google was going to penalize you for having affiliate links, why would they not penalize you if you waited several weeks to add them?

In my experience it's better to wait until you've been indexed and have some good content up. I don't want the first time Google spiders my site to find nothing but affiliate links. Also, make sure to use a good link cloaker such as pretty link. |

The reason you need to wait is for your site to get indexed after which you can start adding those links. Google links original content and more of internal links and inbound links than external and more of outgoing links.
