Default SEO Quake issue

Check this.

I'm using Firefox and SEO Quake add-on. When SEO Quake is disabled and I search on Google for my main keyword, my website shows up on first page position 6.

If I enable SEO Quake and carry out same search after restarting FF, my website shows on Page 2 result 2.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this and which result I should go by?

I've tried the search on a different laptop without SEO Quake and i'm first page result 6.

Hi

I don't think this issue is due to seo quake. May be you would have logged in your google account during search. You can view the correct serp only when you are signed out of google account.

Trust me, it is 100% SEO Quake causing this.

I'm never logged into my Google account and when I restart FF all my cookies, history and cache are deleted.

please check after clearing cache, because SEO quake did not make any impact one SERP.

Cache is cleared every time I restart Firefox which I need to do to enable/disable SEO Quake. It's not a cache issue.

Try using a SERP rank checker or go to scroogle.org for a more realistic non-geo targeted impression of where your site ACTUALLY sits in the rankings.

Hello MontyPlums,
There is a problem, you're looking where your site is in a not american sector. Seoquake by default shows your serp from us database. When seoquake disabled, google settings are working. So in new version of our toolbar we setup the opportunity for choosing language and searching database.

Ah I see. Thank you for clarifying.

Do you have a release date for the update yet?

I don't trust any rankings except in a browser I'm completely logged out of with no tools, search history, or other personalization, like Safari. That way you're still getting close to the raw results (although they might still be localized).

I also have an issue with SEOQuake that I have not been able to resolve, even by contacting support. None of the details appear on my search results page. I only get the tool bar when I open the web page to the site.

Also, if I have SEOquake turned on and try to post in a blog, I get the tool bar in my post, and every time I save a draft or publish/update, I get an additional SEOQuake bar inside my post.

I thought the whole point of SEOQuake was to see the results in the SERP and be able to sort them by PR etc. I get very little use out of it any more because the results do not show under the listings.

Shouldn't I have sort icons next to my arrow, and data listed by my x's?

Sure would like to get this resolved so I can use SEOQuake again like I did when I first installed it.

Hello, Tim.
Problem with the blog has be solved, so you just need to update seoquake to last version 2.7.6. Also try to disable seobar, so your results will be shown in serps.
Hope it will help you.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if the new problems will appear.

From yesterday I'm having the same issue , PR showing N/A, Alexa rank is okey, it happened after updating my firefox browser to 7.0.1. I don't know Firefox update is the main reason or not.

Hi. I also have a problem with SEO Quake and SEO Quake Lite for Chrome. It doesn't show PR for several days already. I have tried to uninstall and re-install the plug-in to no avail. What's the best thing to do?

Just found this ...This is the issue and needs to be fixed in seoquake...UPDATE: It turns out Pagerank is not dead after all. Google has simply updated the URL which is used to query it, which has caused various toolbars and websites to stop reporting the number.

If you click the SEO Quake icon on your browser, then click Preferences it has a tab called SEObar. Then there is a setting to enable or disable it.

The blog he's talking about, it sounds like you need to update to the latest SEO Quake version to solve the problem of the toolbar appearing in your posts.

Unfortunately No, we fixed only firefox version of seoquake.
Firefox is the most popular browser, so we are working more on updates for firefox.

This sounds strange, as I checked my FF 7.0.1 few minutes ago, and as you described in tools-> extensions-> seoquake, was a "remove" button.

Anyone knows how to remove the seoquake button at the top right corner of FF ?

There's already one icon at the bottom right corner of the status bar from the previous version.
