Hello wf community, i am an average newbie and a new member of wf i read many things about IM but now i want to start real work on it. i watched the google sniper video and set up 3 websites with a long tail keyword. i also created backlinks with scrapebox on hundred of blogs. all 3 websites are indexed on google. if i search the keyword only like this "" and if i search without "" it get this results: 1. website: 4 | 468 2. website: 6 | 598 3. website: 57 | not on first 1000 all are with wordpress, and 2-3 articles on it. so my questions are how long does it take to come on the better ranks. i made it 1:1 with the google sniper course but it ranks really bad what can be the reason. how long does it take that google recognize the backlinks? does it matter if the backlinks are on any non related websites? is there anything other i have to take care? pls give me a help on that, i have to learn sooo much from you |

I would have suggested starting of with only 1 website, reach rank 1 with that one website and then move onto bigger projects. Also, you will need more than 2-3 articles. And make sure your on-page SEO is done properly also. |

You do need more than 3 articles. I had a google sniper site with exactly 3 articles of 500 words each, and it did rank very well very quick but it got penalized once it got near the top probably from a manual review. My other site though, with a few more articles and some nicer backlinks ranked more slowly but doesn't jump about like crazy so its more stable. |

| how long does it take to come on the better ranks. anywhere from a few week to a few months i made it 1:1 with the google sniper course but it ranks really bad what can be the reason. so, so many factors, on page and off page seo how long does it take that google recognize the backlinks? sometimes things get indexed within a day or 2, sometimes they get indexed over a few months, some never....all to do with quality does it matter if the backlinks are on any non related websites? if its low competition then its not too much of a problem, obviously ALWAYS try to find related websites for link building is there anything other i have to take care? just carry on link building |

If you are you really want to use your own domains or your results will be very different to what you are hoping for... not to mention the fact that you don't really own all the hard work you are putting in.

| The concept still works and will continue to work since Google focuses a lot on "relevance", which is to build specific EMD niche websites. But following the plan as is in that course will not yield the desired results, way to many people doing the exact same thing now, its over saturated. Add your own unique twist. So yes, Google Sniping works, just not as laid out in the course, way to simplistic and saturated for 2011.

Yes, it does matter! WordPress.com does NOT allow you to place affiliate links on your site - as soon as you try to do that, they will shut down your site. It is very important that you follow the instructions in the Google Sniper course that show you how to get your own domain name and install WordPress. The course also goes over how to use the All In One SEO plugin - which will also help you in getting a better ranking. Don't rush and try to skip steps, as that will only mess you up. It is mentioned in this thread that you will need to make some modifications to the base Google Sniper method, and that is true. Adding content on a regular basis will help - that doesn't mean you have to post every single day, though! Once a week would be great, but even just a couple of times a month would help you. Gigi
