Outranking a Youtube listing with no backlinks

Hello,

Probably a simple question but I appreciate the input.

I have found a set of keywords that normally would look relatively easy to rank highly for but there is one issue I'm not sure about.

The top 2-3 spots are taken by youtube or other video sites. Their title and description on the google listing is fairly relevant and the onpage text is also relevant, but these pages have zero backlinks.

If I create sites that have basic seo and backlinking, should I be able to outrank these pages?

You can outrank any page easily that has no backlinks regardless of its source.

Its about backlinks to PAGES not DOMAINS.

To outrank those Youtube sites,You need to have quality backlinks and some more age for the post or page you had created.
