I put up another wordpress yesterday. I usually get indexed the same day with all my sites and sometimes the next day but usually always fast. This time it indexed this morning but only the sitemap page indexed and nothing else. My main articles is 1500 words and i used seopressor on it. Just wondering if thats normal.

Yea I think its all down to chance. Some of my websites index in hours, some I have to give it a couple of days. Just give it a couple more days and see. If you're sitemap is indexed it shouldn't take too long.

Once you've submit a sitemap, then just wait for it. It will eventually be crawled =) Don't worry =)

Add the GWT site/verify code to your WP header & you'll get the intial site index in less than 24 hours. Assumes your site is actually up & running.

I've had computer issues just like you do with e-mail where it may not show up immediate, but will eventually roll around. Great question. |

I often met this kind of situation, sometimes worse, it take more than a week that my new websites could get indexed. I think it's normal, big G need some time to check your websites' quality.

Hi, You can see when spiders have hit your site by tailing the server logs. Then wait a few hours - half a day maybe. Sometimes it's instant. |

Indexation is weird and unpredictable. I put up a brand new site and the next day it was #3 on Yahoo for a highly competitive term and getting Adsense clicks. LOL |

Try auditing your website and check for broken links, uniqueness of content among others.

I would just focus on creating more content and make sure that you have a good site structure so that the spiders can properly index your website. These things take time my friend! |

Getting the Google spider to show up is pretty easy. Submit your site for analysis at Qirina (link in my sig) and you will get a link that will be crawled pretty quickly. I can't guarantee that will get you indexed though... |

Don't sweat it. Even after several days of link building, I don't expect too much to be indexed. Just build links and let time do its job.
