How often Google will update its page rank algorithm?

I would like to know how often Google will update its page rank algorithm and Google page rank is decrease by one number to one of my website, why it is happening like this, I am doing SEO on regular basis.

They update it in real time for themselves, however they only update what the public sees a couple of times a year.

i have seen somewhere on warrior forum itself, its three month, internally they change page rank instantly but for us we can see those change on three month basis.

Google is constantly assessing pagerank but they only occasionally (approx once per quarter) update the toolbar that displays pagerank.

There is the actual PageRank used by Google to rank sites. It's updated, like, every minute. But it's visible only to Google.

Also, there is Google Toolbar PageRank, that you can see if you have the Google Toolbar installed. So, the Toolbar PR gets updated about twice a year, and now, reportedly, even less often than that.

scorpioking, the 3 months you are talking about must be the 3 months left before the next Toolbar PageRank update,
