Backlinks... Do they Really Give Results?

Hi!

I have ordered some backlink services on Fiverr like "One PR 9 backlink for $5" and "10 PR 8 backlinks for $5". But does backlinking really give results in the search engines?

The website I have promoted is my free money-making guide (the one in my signature).

Will this website really get higher in Google with an PR 8, 9 or 10 backlink than without?

Just wondering...

10 x PR 8 backlinks for $5???

PR 8 and PR 9 backlinks would certainly give your website cache in the eyes of the search engines and I would even say that you would notice an increase in traffic...

But I think you that someone saw you coming.

Would be interested to know what you get for your $10

I have tried to buy the service of PR9 backlinks x 3 at $40, but I can't find anything different for the traffic.

For those prices and on Fiverr you won't be getting actual PR links as advertised. You'll be getting links on SITES of which the homepage has a PR of 8 and 9. These will most probably be profile links and will do little to enhance your SEO efforts.

So, yes, backlinks give great results. But these types, not so much.

If I'm not mistaken, a real link from a PR9 page should cost somewhere in the region of between $500 and $1,500 per month.

To put things in perspective a little, these sites all have PR8 homepages

Forget about getting anything above a PR7 link, because it's just not going to happen. It is false advertising to offer "One PR 9 backlink for $5" and "10 PR 8 backlinks for $5".

You have to pay more money for these types of links..

Send me $10 and I'll point you to a "PR 10" link to your website. It's called Google search results.

While site authority is important, remember PR is Page Rank, and Page means Page. You're probably getting links from PR0 pages.

I am sure , PR 8, PR 9 is the PR of home page not the link which where you are going to have back link.

Just because of this PR, You are going to have quick indexed back links.

Your site is of competitive theme, So you have to make more links, 2 or 3 links are not enough to rank well in google.com

Also, be careful about pointing those Fiverr gigs to your main site. Most of the time they're links from heavily spammed sources.

As with many things in life, you get what you pay for. A $5 gig is only gonna be so effective at the end of the day. Especially considering how much a "gig" needs to scale in order for the seller to actually make any real money.

Did you already paid it?! You should've asked this question before you bought them. High PR pages are highly deceitful that they are able to make you believe that they will have a great value for your site.

Perhaps they do (sometimes), but be careful when it comes to this one specially if you are using services. Anyway, backlinks do help in getting good ranking. But always remember that getting links from bad sites might hurt your site. That's not from me, that's from Google Webmaster Guidelines.
