Article Marketing, Press Releases, Backlinks, PPC Advertising?

What is the best method to promite my site? I am looking at ROI and time.

They all have their pros and cons. I'm happy with just sticking to high pr backlinking and great content. The rest will come later naturally, especially if you;re building an authority site

A mixture of them all (I personally use seo traffic generation, and no PPC)...

Use Social media optimization. Or, if you want, you can do both SEO and SMO.

All of them! I don't like PPC much any more but for backlinking, you may as well do the lot.

That said, article marketing is my favorite and provides the highest ROI.

Why? Well I take one article, spin it heavily with SpinChimp, and then distribute it. With that ONE article, you can submit to:

AMR/ArticleBot, ArticleRanks, SeoLinkVine, BuildMyRank, FreeTrafficSystem... plus whatever other blog networks you are a part of.

That's a lot of links!

I suggest you make sure your on-page optimization is at least equal or better than the top 5 positions for your keyword. This will make your off page work much easier. Then I would focus on getting quality links from trusted sources. Then backlink those backlinks.

I have a question regarding on this. How about if you're creating links on authority sites having a low OR like PR0-3 does with a great content? It's still effective? As you said your sticking on high pr. :s

I tried all of these methods and mixing all of them is great. Social, video, blogging also works.

I think the best ways are building more and more high pr quality backlinks to your site, it will surely imrpove your SERP lot.and article marketing and press release will incrase your site's authority a lot plsu with huge traffic.you also can try blog posting and forum posting to get better rank result.

I believe a good mix of everything, is the best way to approach it. You may then find a particular thing that works best for your site, then put more time in to that. But make sure to constantly try out new things as you will find great ways to draw traffic every so often

If you have already worked out your desired ROI then I would first look to PPC. The rationale for this is that if you can make a profit from PPC activities then it is a no brainer to persue.
From that profit then you can invest it into other forms of link building, which although might not give you ROI in the short term, you will benefit from free traffic in the long run.
