How much is my blog post contextual link worth?

Somebody contact me about placing a blog post about online Bingo game on my website. I will be writing the 300 words blog post with 2-3 links in it.

My website is a freebies directory with PR1 for the homepage and PR2-PR3 for few other inner pages.

Any idea how much should I charge for that? Also, if I were to offer to place a site wide link at the sidebar, how much should I charge?

It depends which page but if you are writing the content a minimum of $100 for a year. Sitewide links aren't such a good idea because they raise a flag with Google if you don't nofollow them and most want dofollow links.

Thanks Patricia. Should I stick the blog post to homepage if I charge $100 for a year? Or let it to fall out of my homepage as I add more posts?

The advertiser would probably require it being on your home page, or on one of the higher PR pages, but the content should be highly relevant and add value to your blog. Remember that I said minimum, some will go a lot higher with even monthly or quarterly payments so negotiate.

Remember that if google catches you out your site could get deindexed. You need to consider that before coming to a decision

I would suggest no more than 1 link as more links will leak your pagerank unless you add more pages to compensate for that loss.
