I don't find this true. I think main task is on page SEO. If you well optimize your website, you can more easily target keywords and get fast indexing in search engines.

I believe they are more difficult to get higher rankings with. Even though they are both gTLD's the .info domain is much much cheaper and therefore stuck with a bad reputation of being the preferred domain for spammers/scammers online. |

Well In my opinion .info domain don't rank well. Regarding getting links I think .gov and .org domains are the best.

Preferable is .com or .net or .org but in terms of seo all the extensions are same. No one is better than the other.
