am about to apply for an ad sense account for my new website.. as i said on my previous post my site is just over a month old..i have done a lot of work on it as far as original content and back linking so i was wondering is it a good time to apply or should i let my site mature more.. any tips on what to look for so i dont get rejected ?

Make sure your site doesn't look like still under construction. Have around 10 - 20 pages (post / pages) in your site with unique content. Usually this is what I did to get adsense approved.

It doesn't matters the domain age, google matters the quality content of the site.

Major update here.. i applied for adsence and i got an email today from Google telling me that they cannot approve due to "domain ownership " so they need me to access the HTML source code of my domain create a separate page on the site and paste the snippet they provided.. am a bit confused.. why is that ? and how can i do it ? they said they need to know if i have html access of the url i submitted |

If you have above 10 posts and a good looking design, ,go for it. There are some restrictions for some publishers from specific countries though. So be sure to check them and then apply. |

See, its not about the age of your website... Its about the content of your website. Google is very strict for AdSense approval... You have to work on the overall quality of website. |

Google (if needed) would not need to use whois. You can apply with a blogspot. You certainly don't own that. It's all about whether you have access to edit the site. It is about site age in many countries. You must have the site for at least 6 months. There are other rules as well for these countries. If you happen to live in one of those, well, a one month old site will not cut it. Paul |
