I am in the building sites phase right now, but noticed I had $5.84 that went down to $4.80. I know its estimated earnings, but it didn't use to be like this. I'm just getting back into internet marketing and will be slow to build because I need to pay to have everything outsourced. Do you guys see flucutuations with adsense reporting income?

They don't cut your earnings but based on the quality of your traffic they can adjust the CPC of the ads server to your website, low costs ads = lower revenue.

If you mean you checked and saw one total, then checked a little later and it went down, yes, quite common. They credit money right away, but may take it back later after determining it was an invalid click. You never know when this happens, unless you check after each click. That is, if you had not checked before and saw 4.80, you would never have known. Invalid clicks are normally not a problem. If all of your clicks are invalid, then you would have to worry. The more you make on adsense, the more invalid clicks you will get. It's just part of the game. Google has to err on the side of the advertiser. That's not shaving, that's protecting their paying customers. You are not a paying customer. They are allowing you to use adsense. It's free money from them. I had $15 taken away the other day. Pissed me off. But, you move on. Paul |
