Blog placement and ranks

I currently have a website that is ranking for some competitive keywords and I plan on doing multiple methods of SEO but I had to ask a question about blog placement. If I were to upload all my articles to domain.com/blog instead of having all my articles on the front page will the /blog come up on Google or will the index?

It will depend on the quality and relevancy of the content. If you will feed genuine and SEO friendly material by choosing strategic keywords, there are more chances of success.
