My website was hacked this morning and will be down till at least tomorrow due to poor hosting response because they have the latest backup of my site and have not yet begin restoration process yet. Will I see any impact/damage to my SEO? I've already lost my revenue for the day and most likely tomorrow... What can I expect from this? Forgot to mention my website generates a little over 10k UV/day PR3. |

It is possible if google crawls your site in that time. In fact, because its a whole day, it is very probable. it shouldn't have amassive affect in the long term and even if you drop in the serps, you'll definitely come back after a few days

All of my sites on my hosting account were hacked, but was fixed within 30 minutes of myself being aware of the situation. Have you considered a new host? I use Host Winds and they respond to Skype messages in minutes. |

Finally got off the phone with the right people this time and will have it done within 30 mins, there was a miscommunication in the system. I'm with justhost.com although this is the first incident I've had with them they have been pretty good otherwise. I'm still afraid damage has been done since being down for over 12 hours (just a bit annoyed and worried), is there anything I should do as soon as it's back up? |
