Front Page of YAHOO and BING in 2 hours... GOOGLE not so much....

I basically created this website about 3 hours ago now... my goal was to be on the first page for the search string "buy tablet". Well looks like my goal has come true for Bing and Yahoo. Google... not so much

Too bad that only around 30% of the web uses Bing and Yahoo. You think it would be more based on the fact that Bing is the default IE search.

Bing is slowly clawing its way back. Maybe in another couple of years

Funny I got on front page of google easy(at least for now) yet stupid bing won't index me.

Google crawls the Web at varying depths and on more than one schedule. The so-called deep crawl occurs roughly once a month

Congratulations...

It's much easier to rank in bing and yahoo than it is to rank in google.

googles algorithm is different..it's much more complex!

but don't let that scare you..the parts of googles algorithm that "directly" effects your sites hasn't changed in years...

in fact, the most simple way to see exactly what google wants is to read their terms, as well as all of their knowledge base on ranking, seo and pagerank (which is now irrelevant in my eyes).

The jist of it boils down to relevance...

If you do a better job at making the content of your site more relevant than the site ranking #2..you'll have a greater chance to get that#1 spot.

Of course you must provide proper backlinks..
