My market is cd and dvd (disc) replication. I own disc-replication dot net and it is brand new. I could however purchase dvdexplorer dot net for $200, and it is a 10yr old domain. What would you do? Go for a better more keyword rich domain name, or a 10yr old domain name? I dont think the 10yr old domain name has any links, PR or anything. Its just 10years old. Thoughts??? |

| I don't think you really understand the reasons to buy an aged domain. The idea of it being aged is that it has enough quality links on it. If it has no links then its little better than buying a new domain

This is easy - keyword rich new domain! If you have no good links and PR on the oldie, it's better to go with the new one and start building links afresh! |

In this case, If I were you, I'd immediately grab dvdexplorer domain. Why? because It has your keyword in it, good name and aged domain. However if you can effort why not get both. |

I'm also into the keyword rich domain rather than an aged domain, In a keyword rich domain its possible to get higher rankings in search engine as well as driving huge traffic from other visitors.

I would get both dvdexplorer and keyword rich domain. By the time, I will redirect (also change address in g. webmaster?) to the new rich-keyword domain. |
