Blog Commenting?

Hey guys, I currently only use SeNukex for my SEO and would like to expand to using something else with it. I hear a lot of people talking about blog commenting and wanted to know your thoughts on it?

Also if you recommend blog commenting, how would you go about doing it? Is there a blog commenting software you use?

For blog commenting I definitely suggest you do it all manually so that the comments are much more likely to stick. That doesn't mean you can't use tools to help you out.

Scrapebox is the tool I use the most for backlinking, but I wouldn't suggest you use the auto spam feature. Instead, try to scrape good quality relevant high pr blogs that you can leave a link. It doesn't matter if its dofollow or nofollow, both will have benefits, both will help you.

You should allways do manual blog comments that way you are able to legitimatley engage and respond rather than spamming which is no good for anybody.

Blog Commenting is also a part of link building process, but do take care of do-follow links as most of the blog gives no-follow. However, lots of blogs give do-follow as well. Do manually otherwise, it won't take much time to come into Google's eyes.

I would always suggest doing it manually and yes try and find do-follow blogs but I also think its important to have no follow back-links (not thousands) but some. It makes the linking look more natural instead of having thousands of do-follow links. My opinion anyway.

Majority of the answers are all the same. I just want to remind you that blog commenting is effective if and only if, your comments get approved.

It's sad to say that there is a very low chance for our comments to get approved. So in that case, you should not expect too much on doing this. Just consider it as an additional.

Here's a pretty simple overview:

High quality, MANUAL blog comments on DoFollow posts with PR:
Point the link at your money site.

Automated blog comments:
Point the links at a web 2.0 / buffer page that links to your site. (A Squidoo lense, Hub, article, etc.) Don't point them directly at your site and you'll be fine.

Try and create multiple tiers of backlinks if possible. Point the higher quality ones directly to your site. Point the lower quality ones at those to give them a little boost.

Comment on others blog can give you good results, if and only if you do it on good blogs. Make good comment and try to add meaningful information. Never use words like "Great Post" or "Thanks", moderator will never approve these kinds of comments at all.

I have started using blog commenting as part of my link building strategy as I think Big G cannot penalize you for link building this way.

Senukex will make 100's of profiles for you that are not ready used in forums, so this looks fishy. By blog commenting you are inter acting with online community and G likes that.

A big plus for blog commenting, is that you can easily get PR1 to PR7 links to your website by commenting on blog page with page rank.

I use Fiverr for manual link building. For $5 you can get 15 to 25 Pr3 manual blog comments. Nice!

Blog Commenting is indeed an effective way to promote your website and gain backlinks. But using a software, it won't really work because the owner might delete your comment for spamming their website.

I know that SENUKE-X is a great SEO tool but in blog commenting, don't use any software. I will only waste your time.

Hey Tmill - don't use any software, manual labour is best.
Try to find a VA that will do this for you.
Most VA's can get up to 70-80 blog comments done in 1 day at a very reasonable price.
In the past I have found blog commenting to work well for me and we continnue to do every week.

I vote on manual blog commenting as well. Automatic blog commenting software don't really bring you the best results, so in my experience you'll do far better if you search and comment blogs that are relevant to your niche.

the software I used is from fastblogfinder.com & I paid $99 when it first came out might be cheaper now. Comment Kahuna is/was ok too(free).

$99 seems pretty high when you can grab Scrapebox for $57.
