Can a de indexed backlink pass link juice?

Suppose I have a backlink to my money page from Posterous. Now if I blast 10000 backlinks using Xrumer to the Posterous backlink and then if google de index the backlink will my moneypage still enjoy link juice from Posterous backlink including some link juice from10000 forum profiles?


Anybody has any idea?

As soon as the links are deindexed and once Google refreshes your site's ranking, you'll lose your SERP because it won't find the same link juice to keep you on top of its search results. So it's an enjoyment for a small period of time.

Just a parallel question If de indexed backlinks cant pass link juice then why people harvest backlinks from yahoo and bing using scrapebox??

What does harvesting backlinks from Yahoo and Bing have to do with anything being deindexed? I'm confused.

I think he's referring to links that haven't yet been indexed as opposed to have actually been de-indexed, however I could be wrong

Sorry for confusing both of you. I meant there are some backlinks those are not indexed or de-indexed by google but indexed by Yahoo and bing. So if I harvest backlinks using Google, Yahoo and Bing then in my list there will be some backlinks that are not indexed or deindexed by Google.

So I just wanted to know why people are harvesting backlinks using google, yahoo and bing simultaneously? If an un indexed or a deindexed backlink cant pass link juice then I will not harvest backlinks from Yahoo and Bing when I am trying to get Page 1 rank for just google.

Scrapebox is harvesting links using the link: command in Google. Although there may be many more backlinks that Google is aware of, they only show a few. In fact, Google notoriously shows fewer than any of the major search engines.

That is why people go to other sources to pull more.

To rafiseo, i think those people as just lazy to trim down and verify if each link can validly contribute to their campaign for quick backlinks. Well, who would want to go one by one on each link if it is a pile of 10K backlinks they are to finish checking only to find out that only 100 of those are in the Google's index. .

When a site is deindexed it's essentially removed from the search results, and all of its "PageRank" is thus removed as well.

Since Google needs to have the site indexed and visible for it to pass along PageRank once its removed those links will be of little to no value.

Having said that, the links still may be effective though for the likes of Yahoo and Bing as well as other search engines because they use different algorithms and data altogether.

In fact I am not talking about link juice for PR. I was talking about of link juice from forum profiles
