Default How to move the website to another domain efficiently?

So, here's my story... I bought a domain, chosen a keyword and used many many fiverr gigs to boost my rank in the search engine. The result? Well, my website has been marked as spam by Google and the only way to counter this is by building about 100k quality links, which I can't.

I want to move the website to a new domain and a new server now, but how can I do this in a seo-safe way? I will move all the content and put a nofollow link on the old website to inform the visitors. I've already made my older site show only an "Under Construction" page.

My question is: How can I move all the content of the website without making Google think that the new site has duplicate content? Is it enough to leave the "Under Construction" page so that the old site disappears from Google and after that, launch the new site with the same content?

I don't want to inform Google that I'm moving because he might mark the second website as spam too and that's just exactly what I want to avoid!

Ok the answer to your question is pretty simple...

If your site is wordpress, I would use something like backup buddy and create a backup of your site, then, unpack that backup to a new domain, prefferably a new hosting account and new domain.

Then, I would delete the old site, and maybe even 301 redirect the old domain to the new, but the issue is sometimes the penalty may carry over to the new domain if you 301 the domain to the new one.

That part is up to you.

That looks like the hard way to do things

Just use backup buddy and you will be fine + you will save yourself a ton of time.
