I have put a few posts on this site of late (thanks to various contributors). I have a few business interests but I am no IM'er..... Yet! Essentially I use sites to promote my physical businesses and sell goods of a mid value. I have a sound business understanding but still coming to grips with IM. On this basis please excuse my simplistic line of questioning. Whilst looking for a few keywords I stumbled across the above. The .com & .co.uk variables are still available on the exact keywords + additional extensions and the keywords are in a growing market. This is the first time I have seen these type of numbers on something that has full .ext availability ![]() If my excitement is premature feel free to slap me! Constructive slapping would be preferable. There are other sites out there for the painful type ![]() The KW's would make a very good information site and I am wondering what is the best way forward. Lets say I had the best SEO advice available from a professional here. If this was maximised what income stream could one expect from say adsense with these type of search volumes. I appreciate this would be rotational around content etc but this is where the expert comes back into play. Is adsense the best model for this concept or a.n.other? |

I'd be very skeptical of how you're interpreting the search data - it's highly doubtful that an exact kw with that many searches is available on all TLDs

Run a search on Google for the keyword and see what comes up. Open up the first 5-6 websites. Check if they have adsense. Try and figure out (using tools online) as to what the advertisers are paying for the ads. It should give you an idea if there really is demand. Additionally, run the same keyword in wordtracker free keyword tool and see what comes up. Nothing is 100%, but if you get even half the number, then go ahead and register the domain. At the most you will lose 10 bucks, plus some content. Risk is part of any business. |
