Parking domains on top of main domains good for SEO?

I'm buying a bunch of keyword based domains and parking them on top of my main domain so it basically loads my main website when you go to that domain. I also have those keywords in my website... so my question is, will parking these domains help with SEO for my main site at all?

If not, what's the best thing I can do with these domains that I'm purchasing?

No, these parked domains won't help you in very big way. Since these parked domains won't be carrying any rank, any backlinks to inherit.

Because you are redirecting all your parked domains to your main domains, these domains are not parked anymore.
