I just want to ask if some of you are familiar about link acquisition. I guess there are lots of different terms. Are this term is the same as in link building? Thanks! |

In my mind, link acquisition is the process of reaching out to webmasters to obtain links from them through things like guest blogging, a blogroll link, a banner ad, etc. These would be links that you really need the site owner's participation in obtaining. Link building is using the methods like creating Web 2.0 sites with links, videos, forum posts, blog commenting, article directory distribution, etc. I'm sure some people see them both as the same, but I make that distinction between the two. |
