Keep your keyword density low because you might get into a Google filter if you use your keyword too often. 2% max should be fine.

Forget crunching numbers and trying too hard to reach a certain keyword density (as long as your keywords flow naturally and don't stick out like sore thumbs, you're fine).

If you really want great SEO articles, you need a quality article (i.e. compelling, with solid facts to back up your points, without any silly spelling and grammar mistakes) that does 2 things:

1. Answers your readers' questions
2. Solves your readers' problems

Another point that have been forgotten by most article writers is the redundancy. You must be aware of it if you don't want your readers to get bored in reading your article.

When writing articles for SEO, do the following:

1. Keep the title within 69 characters (including spaces).
2. use the main keyword as early as you can in the title (preferably the first word).
3. Use keywords at least one in the first 50 words of the article.
4. Use keywords in heading and sub headings
5. Use keywords at least once in the last paragraph of the article
6. break the keywords and use it randomly in through out the article (for example you have a keyword phrase "soft bed mattress" then you should use "soft bed" "bed mattress" soft mattress" in the article).
7. Keep the keyword density around 2%.

That's about it.

Make sure your keyword is in the Title, first paragraph and also near the end of the article. You also want to avoid keyword stuffing the article and keep the density around 2-3%.

And, most importantly, make sure the quality of the article is top notch and actually provides a benefit to the reader.

LOL! Nicole, it really is that easy, isn't it?

Write for a human, not a search engine, and you'll be amazed. No
such nonsense about keywords or density needed.

The only time I ever worried about keyword density was when I
started on EZA. Frustrating to say the least. Canned EZA baloney
and the rest is history. I always wondered why EZA was filled with
such crap. Crap that worried about word count, keywords, keyword
density, all the while being completely useless to any human looking
for information!

Even the search engines themselves say that you should write for humans first and spiders second. Anytime you have to bring a calculator into your writing, your writing is going to suffer

Article be very helpful for our business now a days. One has to take care for many point when writing articles :
* Provide meaningful and new content in your article.
* Write your article in such a way that it stay interesting till the end.
* Represent article with proper text , title , and keyword.

When you write an article, write it for the users and not for the spiders. When you provide informative and useful content people will automatically link back or bookmark your page for future reference.
The future of SEO is in content and links will not dominate in the future, what users like is good quality and informative content and they should be able to get that from Search Engines. Do not follow any criteria just write and article for an average user.
