Well i had a website http://www.readhowyouwant.co.nz/ on which i were preforming activities of SEO. This website was a new website and was the replica of http://www.readhowyouwant.com (New Zealand). The website http://www.readhowyouwant.co.nz/ was able to get quick ranks with in the search engine of Google.co.nz but from a few days i cant find the website any where on Google.co.nz. The website isnt appearing from its title, or is domain URL either. ![]() I want to know the reasons behind as to why this happened, i know there is a possibility of duplicate content as to why this happened. But still want to know advices of experts regarding this as now the website is penalized and need to know what to do next in order to remove all such flaws before i put in a reconsideration request. Please help me..... |

Hi Anna, I think you don't need to be panic. First thing to do is looking the mistake you may did previously. Do you have any duplicate contents? And never use url redirection.

Just took a look at your site, have you been blasting links to this brand new site? You need to drip the links and wait till the site matures a bit before doing the heavier stuff. I see that one of your innerpages is still indexed, but the rest are temporarily gone. Just give it time and ease up with the linkbuilding. Learn what kind of backlinks are beneficial, and what harms you. Also, do you have a Sitemap? Add your site to a Google webmaster account and submit your sitemap so Google can spider your site better/faster. |

are you able to see your site if you do "site:addyoururl.com" if so you are just dancing or in the sandbox, just keep creating links and adding content. If you see nothing then you have been hammered

Same thing happened here with me with an aged PR domain, used to be on page 2, after submitting to adsense (i dont know why i was in a hurry) then my website disappeared, but it still appears if i enter site: domain.com.. Maybe the missing robots.txt was the reason. or the crawl errors. |

Very common event for new sites, it will be the google dance so don't panic, it should reappear. In SEO, you need lots of patience and persistence. Heck, I've been waiting for a site of mine that's disappeared to the back of beyond of the google search engine. Before, I'd have also panicked but with more exposure and experience not now |
