How I can attract more traffic to my site?

I am a newbie to the Forum, and new to the PPC in internet marketing. I want to learn how to make some extra money in the PPC with Adsense, and Adbrite. I set up my site for a couple months, and did not seem to attract any traffic to my site. Anyone have suggestions?

You can't expect to get traffic to your site just by setting up a website with Adsense and wait. There's no "Field Of Dreams" of "if you build it they will come" on the Internet. You need to apply SEO practices to your site to rise up in the rankings to get traffic.

Search this forum for tutorials on SEO or other ways to generate traffic to your site. SEO is a big topic so be prepared to spend some time to study it.

Then, without being a spam head, post content relative to the conversations going on to people who may be interested in your website.

Learn SEO, Social media, and viral marketing techniques.

Last and foremost, HAVE PATIENCE.

Anyway, first focus on keyword research. Your task is to find keywords that you want your website rank for.

If you choose keywords with a low number of searches, you'll probably rank high, but you won't get much traffic. If you opt for an often-searched-for-and-highly-competitive keyword, it will be challenging to get high rankings, and eventually the traffic level will be low as well.

Getting traffic is actually the hardest thing to do.

For me it needs TIME and Backlinks. Social traffic doesn't convert at all so i consider it a waste of time.

backlinks ∝ traffic on ur site..

use seo techniqus to create backlinks and traffic will increase automatically but it is not so easy...

Practically speaking, it will always depend on what your site is all about. If you have nothing interesting in your site, then don't expect a good traffic from it even if has a good ranking.

But since your question is too general, I would make a practical suggestion of making your site more interesting and more accessible to your visitors. Technically speaking, a few seconds delay in your site's loading speed will make your visitor bored and might bounce out from your site.

Regarding on your content (specially if your site is content-based), make your content more interesting and can easily be understood by your readers. In this way you can refrain from having a big bounce rate. and of course, consider the SERP ranking. If you want to earn some serious money, you have to bring your site at least on first or second page of Google.

I've seen your site. And in my observation, when it comes to design, navigation, loading speed, and accessibility, I think your site is doing great.

I've also checked your site's backlinks and it's doing good also. All you need to do is to build additional links to it. And oh! Wait! I haven't checked the inner pages yet. I will check it also ASAP and give you my observation.

But so far, I would like to suggest you to build more links to it. Hope that helps.

If you are really serious about your online marketing career then you need to use many different online forums.Forums are great way to increase traffic on your site. Visitors will visit your site so as to see the updates and thus it make that visitor to come back to your site again and again.

SEO is overrated. My site ranks first on google, received 10 clicks a day on a keyword that google reported as receiving thousands of unique exact searches. Garbage. Lots of money spent to get that ranking. Not worth it.

* Target Keywords
* Article writing with targeted keywords

Here's an Adsense tip.

Don't target make money online keywords for Adsense sites.

If they think your site looks spammy, Adsense will delete your account...

A million other keywords exist that are well suited for Adsense.

Here is a tip I learned use google keyword tool make sure to sign up it's free. Now type your keyword in and look for low competition this should help a bit you can always join jv events as a contributor and start building a list, never give up
