My FB Ads Experiment

Hi;
I'm not into FB Ads before.
But, last two weeks, I tried FB Ads, and made me a sale from CB.
So, I say in myself, this had large potential.

Okay, so I'm trying lot of testing this past two weeks.
Some have success, some are not.

Today, I tried one experiment.

Last week, I made a fanpage, advertised it and got about 1k fans.
Today, what I'm going to do, is, write something on my fanpage wall, and advertised that wall to the fans.

So, the only traffic I will get, will be the one from people like my fanpage.
In other words, TARGETED traffic.

What I will be looking in this experiment are :
1. CTR
2. How it will convert to sales
3. What is the cost to get 100 clicks

I will spend about 100 clicks for this example, and will see how it's going.


I just published my ads, and will see, whether it will getting through or not.

I know for a fact that FB ads can make you money, but you should also test out Facebook Pages.

I created a page the other month that now has around 44,000+ fans. Imagine the potential

Have you direct-linked to CB offers with FB ads? Just wondering - don't know if it's allowed or not.

But the fanpage idea sounds good - so wait, you spent $xx on ads to get around 1000 fans, and now you are going to post an affiliate offer on the wall to see how it goes? Basically like having a "list". Most people say FB fans are not great "buyers", so it will be interesting to see what response you get.

How did you get 1,000 likes?

you mind sharing your methods? or are they paid 'likes'

Mark, actually the idea is like this.

Step #1.
I get 1000 fans. From fb ads.
The traffic will come from my selected keyword.

Step #2
I then, use 'sponsored post' type of ads, and advertised a post that is inside the fanpage.

This time, the traffic coming from the people that like the fan page.
Narrow targeted traffic.

The problem happen before is, not everyone aware of your post in your fanpage.

That's why, I was thinking of, using FB Ads, to get attention from my own fans.


This is what I aware with FB Ads.
If your CTR high, you will pay less.
But, to get CTR high is not an easy task, that's why, you need a very targeted traffic.

Yes, they are from paid likes.


Anyway guys/gals.....wonderful news is coming, the ad is now approved !
I will see, how much money will I spend to get 100 clicks and how much money can be made from that 100 clicks !
