What does Facebook have against me ?

Good day to you all…

Here is a truly bothering phenomenon I have been encountering for some time: Wall posts that I'm writing on walls of different pages (which I like), whether from my own profile or from one of my FB pages, cannot be seen by anyone other than me, or the page from which I wrote the post… (If I'll switch users, I will not be able to see the post anymore)

This phenomenon persists on something like 60% - 70% of the walls on which I'm writing (not on all of them), although I usually do not engage in self-promotional messages, but only provide informative content…

What pisses me off even more (excuse my French), is that on the same walls there are tons of posts by all sorts of Tom, Dick and Harry, who bluntly promote their website, without contributing any significant content…

Can anyone tell me please what is the meaning of this and what can be done to remove this "spell" ?

I hate facebook
my relatives ask me to get an acct so i can facebook them, its the biggest scam to mine your personal information, if you ask me

Facebook sucks and is getting worse. It can be a good source of traffic if utilised properly but if you ask me it is alot of work that could be better put into something else.

That sounds pretty weird though that it is happenning in both your accounts. Maybe they have changed your preferences without you noticing.

1. It is hapenning on ALL of my accounts (personal account + 4 fan pages that I admin)

2. Strangely enough, there are quite a few pages on which my posts can be seen, but there are even more on which they cannot be seen...

3. When I reply to an existing post : It can almost always be seen.

4. The craziest thing that happened to me is that I posted something on a certain page and it could be seen by everyone... no problems... A week later, when I posted something else on this same wall, it could not have been seen... (the previous wall-post can still be seen, until now) : Go figure what the hell is going on here ???

5. Yes... As you have correctly mentioned, it is a lot of damn work... I just hope it is not going down the drain

hey Guys chill out! don't curse facebook because you are actually missing something. On the top of wall of every page you will find two options one is Posts by (
<i>page name</i>) and posts by everyone. If you will click the posts by every one you will be able to see your post. Actually most of the page owners choose the default option of Posts by (
page name) to make only page posts visible

I use the facebook but i don't see any traffic from it. Maybe it depends on what you are doing.

It has to be something to do with the security/privicy of the posts as implied by umrbd. I'm not sure but maybe they have changed the default from everybody to private and you need to do something else to make the post public???

why u are blaming facebook without knowing the power and usefulness of facebook... if its used in a good way... it is most efficient ....

Thanks for your reply UMRBD, but I'm affraid you are the one who is actually missing something...

I know about this feature you are taling about (BTW: many FB pages do not have it at all...) and this is NOT the problem I describe

I just spend $800 with facebook this month , and there give me good return in term of the market i target . so to me is really not that bad if you do not spam it and provide good content ,

so for your content not showing . might be a few reason ..

someone might be out to ban you or devalue your acct . as to how to do it i would not say it here . but is all possible to bowl someone or competitor Facebook account .

Good luck , clear your cache to see if it just bad cookie :P
