|  Why does MS show 6000 BLs but when I click
It shows 100 backlinks on the "analyze" backlinks feature (this is for a competitor) best way to verify? SEO spyglass? |

you try some software called Market Samurai.These software is so effective and good for checking competition.

This is on Market Samurai, thats where i analyze the backlinks on the top ten

My best guess would be because Market Samurai pretty much sucks these days. I like SpyGlass for doing that. |

Spyglass says 300 backlinks thats still way different than the 6000 that shows on MS but thats on the large top 10 spreadsheet, I see the 6000, when I click on analyze it only shows like 200 or so |

If you click on the link from MS it will bring you to Majestic SEO, you have to register with Majestic to view the complete data. The backlinks count are different because that's just how it is, some tools are more capable of indexing backlinks than the others. MS doesn't index the links though, they get their data from a 3rd party API. |

ya but even seo spyglass only says 300 links wonder why 6000 are showing on the cover page of MS |
