You need people to actually click the "thumbs up" on your posts.

Stumbleupon traffic sucks anyway, they usually don't stay long and almost never buy anything.

The best way to get huge traffic from su is to have other accounts rate your page as fast as you can after you submit it.

The traffic from stumble upon is huge but like other social sites, most of them are not looking for something to buy so you really can't expect them to buy immediately. My advice is to let them opt in in your list first, build relationship before you sell.

I agree, since people just "stumble upon" your website through Stumbleupon, they are always non-qualified visitors. Just a lot of browsers, no buyers.

Yeah, getting traffic from Stumbleupon isn't easy and it isn't targeted either. A few years ago it was easy to submit stuff to stumbleupon and get tons of traffic, but the service has really tightened up recently.

Either the webpage that you submit needs to offer some terrific content (helpful tutorial, top ten list, beautiful images), or you need to get a bunch of other people to immediately thumbs up your content after you submit it. Also, you can't stumble too many pages from one domain or it won't work.

Anyway, stumbleupon can get you lots of traffic, but it's very difficult is what I'm saying.

Stumbleupon it's a social media site too so if you want traffic you need to develop relations with other like minded people on your niche in order to share your content to as many people as possible and as a result get traffic
