I am a die hard mac user... and most of the SEO tools are windows only. I really don't like to run parallels desktop, and having a separate PC is even worse. I'm wondering what the other mac users do? I thought about setting up a VPS but wasn't sure how good that would work using remote desktop on the mac. Any thoughts? |

| Just one. Stop making the tail wag the dog. Apple, Microsoft, Gates and Jobs do not give a thought about you at any time of day at any point in their life. That thing you are staring at now reading this is a tool - nothing more. Use whatever tool you need to and stop thinking the world must revolve around your platform of choice. I like the Mac too but there are simply not enough users for there ever to be demand that makes most IM tools go to the work of creating native apps for it. Deal with the reality. Either use a VPS or get your self a win box. Its silly to not use the tools you want to run your business because they don't run on your favorite OS. Computers are machines that are meant to serve us not run what we do and what we can use. |

I agree I love my mac because its just so much more snappy and easy to use than windows, but I've got a computer now that I use just for my "work" that runs windows just because there's so many more tools out there to use.

I disagree about there not being enough demand. The small companies just don't have the $$ to maintain for two OS's. Heck, most of the IM tools I have seen barely run on windows. They are just poorly written, junk programs. I don't expect those people to have the funds to make a mac version. The big companies realize that writing for Mac is important though. Just look at SEO Powersuite. | |
