subdomain effect ranking of main domain

Hi,

I have make subdomain on my website but that subdomain website has not related to main website theme so it will be any negative or positive effect on my main website

In my experience subdomains do not affect the root URL because Google considers them separate domains.

I commonly use subdomains to experiment with black hat tactics to see which ones take and which ones get nailed...during all of this, the root URL never skipped a beat.

However, subdomains will improve your Alexa rank...FWIW...if they get traffic.

Subdomains don't have any negative impact on the main website' rankings. Otherwise Wordpress would have been in a great trouble.

Google usually regards subdomains as different sites. Linking them won't do you any good, as they also has the same IP, but it should have zero effect on the rank of your main domain.

Make sure that all your subdomains also link to the main page so all link juice goes back to your main page ..

But as per my experienct, sub domain does have impact on main domain. Google uses different mechanism for blogspot, wordpress or hubpages sub domains

As others have said, the sub domain is classed as a separate site so it will never have an effect on your main domain as nothing that happens off page will ever damage your site. However, it can have a positive effect on your main domain by passing link juice through to it if you link back to your main domain's homepage from the sub domain.
