Niche site - Am I doing right?

Hello all,

I have been done some research in this forum for about 1 month and learned a bit how to make money online. So I made this little niche site which has 1 main keyword and 2 supportive keywords. It has only 4 page of content, but I really dont know what else to write since it's just a promotional site(affiliate links). I made this page 5 days ago, and 2 days ago I got it indexed in google (isn't indexed by yahoo, tho :/). When my site got indexed I was on the 5th page of my main keyword and now I'm on the 2nd page (somewhere middle). 1st day I got 55 visitors, next day I got 65 visitors.

What I have done for backlinking my site:
-high pr forum backlinks
-high pr blog comments
-few directory submissions
-few bookmark submission
What I'm going to do:
-press release(s)
-article submissions
-more .gov, .edu backlinks

So basically that's it. I'm just asking from you if I'm doing the right thing.
I really hope to get indexed by Yahoo soon and I really hope I won't get sandboxed, because I like what I do, and I do many backlinks a day (manually), so probably I should rest a bit, and something more.

Any recommendations and suggestions regarding "how to get well ranked" and so-on are very welcome!

Yea quality links + quality content = quality earnings
Keep it up and you'll probably reach first page soon depending on the competition

Hello, thanks for your advices. I haven't done any backlinking since my last post, since I was very busy with school things, but today I opened the clickbank and saw my first sell!! Im so happy that things really work and this gave me more motivation regarding backlinking yeya

whoa. it really looks like work yourself to death for one site.

when you search for try spreading out to different type of marketing. Do you have a Facebook page set up yet for your site?

Haven't done a facebook fanpage yet, but I will do it
Im still a bit confused since my site is still not indexed in yahoo :/ What are your suggestions about that?

Yahoo takes longer to get indexed than Google. Weeks rather than days, so don't worry.

That's great. But what you need to know more than anything is that there is a real live person on the other end... and how are you going to make their experience better?

Anyone can throw up a site and try to make money by getting links. But sadly that isn't marketing. That's just doing what everyone else is doing and HOPING.

Nowadays technology has raised to a level from where anything and everything is made possible, I will insist the maximum utilisation of technology will result into more profit and business.
