how many anchor links to place

Hi, do you receive better results from only placing 1 anchor text link or is it ok to place 2 or 3 all to the same site?

it depends. it is better to have anchor text within the text of a page rather than footers or in foot notes for instance. Value of links will be diluted the more links there are to the same site from the same site.
