Keeping track of client projetcs

Hello Warriors!

Just wondering what you're methods are for keeping yourself organized with client projects. We're tossing around some new ideas for an excel spreadsheet that will help us see each client, what their tasks are, a billable amount of hours, what percentage of each task is complete and so forth.

So, to any other IMers or SEOers out there, what do you use to manage your projects ?

A lot of guys are using BaseCamp now days to manage their seo projects. I use it from time to time, but most of my projects are my own personal projects so I usually just keep everything in my head.

I was reading an article about this the other day that the was pretty interesting. Let me see if I can find it again.
