I can buy a humor site that gets around 1k visitors a month (9k indexed pages, PR1) for $20. It's an autoblog that pull content from other sources. But instead of trying to build up AdSense rev, here's what I'm thinking. Please tell me if this won't work. I have my own humor blog that gets around 10k pageviews a month, and has 8k indexed backlinks. I'm looking to increase viewership. If I buy this domain, and do a 301 redirect over to my site, will this ultimately affect the purchased existing site's SEO juice? I'm just trying to move the monthly traffic over to my site, but I don't know if the 301 will screw with the SERPs. Wouldn't make sense to buy it and have that traffic go from 1k to 0. I'm embarrassed to say, but I really don't know. Ha. Thanks for the help. |
