Default What Tool to Get the Number of Searches and Competition for a Long List of Keywords

Hi, what tools can we use to check the number of Searches and total competition for a long list of keywords all at once?

I used Market Samurai and Traffic Travis (both free versions) but they could only check the keywords one after one. Is there a faster way?

Yeah, but you wouldn't get the competition analysis and EMD checker.

Sometimes I wish I have a time machine because the only tool that can do this ain't ready yet.

Oh, i am actually in the process of creating a kw research tool/software.

Seriously i didnt see this post.

Let me know what u are looking for specifically and i might take into consideration in the software integration.

What would you like in an SEO kw research software?

1. Monthly SEO performance plan
2. Link Building Packages
3. VAs rental

Pain is a perception, so is defeat, self esteem & happiness !

Considering how long does it usually take for these kind software programs to analyze each keyword one by one, tool that could analyze huge list of keywords would take forever to complete the task. And considering that they have to scrape google for data the risk of getting blocked by Google would be pretty high in my opinion.

Like others suggested, using google keyword tool is probably the best thing You can do right now ,but it's not really showing competition so You still would have to analyze it one by one.

Micro Niche Finder(you can import up to 500 keywords at once) or Keyword Sniper Pro.

MNF is a really great tool. YOu can use it to find all of the things you're looking for, however it's paid.

Google Adwords Keyword Tool and Microsoft. AdCenter keyword tools are free

All keyword research tools that you run on your PC/Mac (eg: Market Samurai & Traffic Travis) have speed limitations on the amount of keyword analysis that they can do.

The only tool that I've come across that can do a comprehensive competition analysis of hundreds or even thousands of keywords in just a few minutes is SECockpit.

The main drawback with SECockpit is the price, which is out of reach for a lot of users.

What good is the information if it doesn't come from Google's data set? Seriously, most tools pull from Google Free or they use Search resources that don't have enough volume to matter.

When you say competition on each keywords you mean SEOC? entering quotes in google and see what number of results comes up?

IMO that information is useless anyways
the "competition" that matters, (the only one that matters) is the top 10 competition on Google

Try "Long Tail Pro". It does multiple keyword searches (up to 800 related) exact etc. It will automatically search and report EMD, CPC, etc.
Honestly I can't think of anything it doesn't do relating to keyword research.

You think SEOmoz and SEOMajestic don't have much data? Not so.

I think you can try google insight and google trend to search the long line keywords with relevant searches. It will show you how many searches and competitior you meet.

I thinking the last 3 posts are spammers.

Google Adwords Keyword Tools is NOT the best tool for checking competition as it does NOT give you that information.

The OP didn't specify whether they wanted free or paid software. Free is always ideal of course, but highly unlikely for a task like this one.

Yeah, I assumed the OP was referring to the amount of competing pages for each keyword phrase but maybe they were referring to the level of competition, number of backlinks etc. Again, I'd still recommend Micro Niche Finder because you can set it to analyze muliple keywords in the background. You just have to make sure you have set a reasonable delay between queries so you don't get blocked from Google
