Default Buying traffic websites

So, I am part of a journalist company that lets me write articles and pays me a commission for how many people I send over to these articles hosted on their website. The website makes revenue through ads that they then list on my articles, although my pay is not based on the click-throughs to those ads.

A company like getwebsitetraffic.org could be helpful to me, since I do not need real users per se. I just need X amount of people coming to the articles on the website.

Getwebsitetraffic.org says that it can get 20,000 visitors to my website for $17.50. Based on my incentive, this traffic would be helpful, real or not.

My only concern, however, is if the journalist company starts to lose money off of me since the traffic is not real (ie. no one is clicking on the ads within my articles). This makes me very paranoid that the journalist company will catch on and give me or the program a boot.

What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
