Hey everyone. I have a micro niche site that's strictly on adsense. I'm thinking about having adsense + a clickbank product to sell. Does this work? Or should I stick with just adsense? I know everyone says not to put all your eggs in one basket. So yeah please help out. Thanks!

You'll need to test this to find out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Most often than not I've read it does not work, but I don't use CB. However, I have sites with Adsense + Amazon that do work decent. Once you get traffic test each option, only way to know for sure for your specific niche. |

The only way to find out is to add the Clickbank product and see how if your AdSense revenue declines. However, if it does decline be sure to test if the AdSense and CB earnings equal more than what you are currently making with just AdSense.

Yes, don't keep all your eggs in 1 basket AFTER you have succeeded with 1 model, then you expand. It all starts with 1... "the power of 1" will always be better than doing too many things at the same time. Become a master in 1 thing first. Clickbank and Adsense are different business models. Clickbank... Clickbank... Clickbank.. forget Clickbank if you are a newbie, unless you have been in the game for awhile now. Clickbank is saturated, so if you are still trying to make your first buck, stay away from Clickbank although that's where the gurus tell you to "start". Stick to Adsense and scale building more micro niche sites... or switch to Amazon products, other independent affiliate networks. | |

It depends on the niche of course as to what's available to promote on clickbank. Before promoting anything from clickbank make sure you check out the landing pages of the product you are looking to promote. If the landing page looks like garbage, then it's not worth the effort. Also look and see if there are any affiliate tools available. The sites that take the time to help out their affiliates are the ones that are likely to succeed the most. I've had mixed success with clickbank on my niche sites and usually just stick to adsense unless there's a really great looking product on clickbank to promote. Take care, Kevin |
