Default Backlinking To An Ezine Article

I would have posted this in the Article forum but for some reason it won't let me..

I just got my first article published at Ezine Articles, woot!

Should I start backilinking it? Is it worth it to pay a few bucks and get a whole bunch of backlinks to it?

Thanks

I wouldn't waste time backlinking to the ezine articles page. They are an authority site, and even post Panda seem to do pretty well in the serps. Spend your time (1) writing more articles, and (2) creating quality backlinks to your own site(s).

One more comment on ezine articles. I don't know what you linked to ... a page on your site, an affiliate link, or a squeeze page, but IMHO ... the 3rd option is best to do most of in the long term. Point the articles to a squeeze page with compatible offer, and build your list.

Having said that, there's always more than one way to skin a cat, and others will have other opinions.

I guess it depends on what the objective is. If you want link juice from it to your money site, then yes, backlinks would be a good idea. You may however want backlinks in order to get the article itself positioned higher in the SERP's, if this is the case then i wouldn't personally waste any time with that - just use the correct tags etc in the article and people will come across it naturally on Ezine.

You can build backlinks to your articles, however, don't republished it to other article directories or to your own website. The point here is that, your article will be republished by ezine publishers with all the details same. Just keep submitting articles to ezine.

there is no need to create the backlinks to the article created in ezine articles as it is an authoritative site and it will get indexed on its own. Better you can do other link building techniques so that you can get more and more backlinks for your site.
