Default CTR vs ClickBump + Testing Advice Needed

What do you guys prefer out of the two?

I have been using CTR and have just switched to ClickBump because i've heard good things.

Whats making me have doubts about clickbump before it even gets going properly is my CTR % and CPC changing drastically today when i made changes to the CTR theme.

I was using the following adsense adverts on CTR theme - 160 x 600 + 336 x 280 and i had a CTR last month of 7%. But last night i read that less adverts is better for the CPC so i deleted the 160 x 600 adsense ads.

Today my CTR % has dropped to 4%, the average CPC is roughly the same and my earnings have decreased massively

When you make such changes and test things how long should i give it? Or would you guys change things as they where within the first 24 hours?

Sorry i didnt explain myself properly. All i have done is change the amount of ads in the CTR theme.

The last few new sites i have published have been with clickdump but i am not ranking with them yet.

I don't think my CTR was ever below 10% with a couple 'large rectangles' on the Clickbump theme...

But does your CPC suck cos you have these additional ads?

No, what "additional ads?"

Ashavin, after reading your post, I'm unclear as to whether you are using my theme or not. Are you still using CTR-Theme or have you switched to ClickBump?

I agree with him. If I were to choose btween the two, then CTR is my answer. I am also an 'adsense pro ultimate' CTR theme user.

Lol, that theme is a waste of money.

You can use any free theme that has 3 columns to get the exact same thing.

^What he said!

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

I haven't tried either CTR or Clickbumb, but created my own template I use wich averages about 4% CTR. I have some more information related sites that average a low as 1% CTR & some product-related niches that average as high as 16-20% CTR. With a bit of common sense, it is easy to build your own template.

I thought CTRation has more to do with
1. ad placement
2. content of site
3. niche of site, (how desperate are they for what you are advertising)
4. color of ads

not that much to do with the theme
