If you have a keyword phrase and the word info after it will it work? such as weightlossdietinfo.com and target the keywords weightlossdiet, this is just an example does the word info disrupt anything? Thanks for your responses!

It won't really matter. Of course it will work. Just optimize on-page and get decent links to it.
