|  Individual pages deindexed, only tag pages remain now???
I noticed a massive drop in my traffic yesterday and was trying to find out why... In Google results, only my tag pages are coming up - all of my high-ranking individual pages are no longer showing up in the results. The only recent 'change' I made was that I made a mirror copy of the site on a different domain to test a new wp theme. I did set that testing site to not allow indexing though... Any thoughts guys? This is a mess! I have held the previous first page rankings for nearly a year! |

Okay - Just figured out that I did a bone-headed thing and blocked search engines from viewing my actual wordpress site (not just the test site). I have since changed that setting back, made a new post, and pinged my site... My individual site pages should return in the google index in a couple days I hope - is that right? |
