I recommend using:
-Article Directories
-Blog Networks (like BlogBlueprint or LinxBoss)
-Social bookmarking to your Articles (to get link juice and get them indexed)
-Forum Links ... I actually have a bot that creates them but you can also do them manually without much effort

ok but is there any simpler way? i dont really feel like registering under 1000 forums and put link in my signature :S

The "easiest" way is to outsource. But even then you may have a tough time getting QUALITY backlinks.

And there's no need to register at 1,000 forums to create a sig backlink. There's software that can do this for you. Or, again, outsource. Though forum profile backlinks are on the low end of the quality totem.

backlinks for me usually consists of social bookmarking, web 2.0, and press releases. Then i add value and content for readers, then your blog posts should aim at a particular market as such (i.e, weight loss). plus your backlinks should always look natural
