Adsense Tracking

How far does google track your traffic that clicks on your adsense ads?

What i mean by this is lets say you have a funnel set up like this.

Original Traffic source --> 1st webpage --> 2nd webpage w/ ads --> adsense

Will google track the original traffic source or count the traffic source from the 1st webpage as the original?
