Default Buying software, Brain OVERLOAD, please help!

I'm trying to research and purchase all the software I need for effective off-page SEO. The problem I'm having is there are many to choose from and I keep finding myself comparing apples to oranges. Of the software listed below please help me break them down into categories for which they are best known for, and give me your opinion as to what the best in each category is to make the Ultimate SEO Toolkit. For example:

keyword research:
market samurai
google analytics

Backlink checker:
Scrapebox
SEO Spyglass

Article submission:
AMR

Thanks for the feedback Tom. I purchased Traffic Travis and have the demo version of Market Samurai and so far they both seem like great products.

Depends on the size of the campaigns that you are wanting to run.

Scrapebox - fast indexer, blog commenting, scraping competitions links, checking PR of links.

Xrummer - Forum Profiles - if your campaign is smaller it's cheaper to purchase a service for these type links

TheBestSpinner - If you plan to use article marketing in your list that need to be spun.

Market Samurai - Size up competition on the fly - there is always the manual way for smaller campaigns but the Demo version is free.

Yahoo Site Explorer/Google Webmasters - great to check your backlinks and yahoo is great to check competition's backlinks.

Bookmarking Demon- If you want to launch a flurry of social bookmarks on a larger level. I personally have my own app coded for social bookmarks that is enough for me since I don't weigh as much on those once my site starts to gain momentum.

That's pretty much my gallery of commerical apps that I use. Everything is self coded into a Main Frame that I use on a daily basis.

Aside from wanting backlinks from blogs if I already have Traffic Travis and demo version of marketing samurai (keyword research is free) do I really need scrapebox?

Also, I watched the video on SEnuke X and the process looks almost too automatic. Would I still be able to write my own articles and spin them with bestspinner to insert into SEnuke? Can you set it up to post on the blogs manually? My business is in a very close knit community and I can't imagine auto blogging =)
