Essentially I’m looking for ways to get some automated back link since I blog often. I was thinking a RSS feed submitter and something like auto social poster? I’m not looking for a huge amount of back links daily rather I want to be able to blog and have it sent out to 10-20 bookmarking sites etc and such just to get some back links for my LONNNG tail posts. When i see how they rank then I go into heavy back link building mode. Any wordpress plugins? Thoughts?

Go back through your posts and cross link them to each other. Then submit in webmaster tools your rss as a sitemap. You can only submit 500 at a time. |

I use Web Traffic Genius which is an automated rss feed submitter. This is a paid plugin but it is a flat rate fee. Although it takes a bit of time to first set up it works well. You can submit to rss sites with no captcha, ones with captcha, and you can also specify category so your feeds will go in the right place. I believe there are also some plugins out there that let you connect your feed to a variety of social networks, I can't think of any off the top of my head right now, but it's something to look into. |

I love the direction in which you're thinking, creating content rather than focusing just one backlinks. For one of my sites, every few days I run Bookmarking Demon. It's a one-off cost, (around $150 or so from memory) plus the cost of proxies ($7 monthly - I recommend NOT using free proxies). You just enter your site url, bmd will find all the urls, you remove the about, privacy policy, etc and just set it to run. You can also pay for decaptcher services or you can choose to submit only to those sites without captchas. This alone is good enough for most longtails on an authority site, I've found. Plus it's "safe". If you want to take it one step further use article marketing robot (one off cost, plus cost of decaptcher services) and submit one highly spun article with spun links to all your urls. Generate a report of articles submitted and run those urls through BMD to get them cached. Set AMR to drip feed to look more natural, if you like. There are also plugins that will also autopost to twitter. There are other plugins that will autopost to various web2.0 sites etc but I'm not sure how long your accounts there would last - but I guess you can look at it. I find that spend 20min each week with BMD is good enough for me, YMMV. Hope that helped |

Exactly what I recommend for tons of solid social backlinks per post: -TribePro Plus - $40/month -OnlyWire - $40/month (up to 10,000 shares per month) Yeah, its a tad expensive at first, but it looks more natural than you just posting your own stuff to your own social bookmarking accounts. Pretty much what happens is you can submit any RSS feed into TribePro (like blogs, squidoo, hubpages, any article directory, YouTube, etc...) and it will automatically share your content with those who agree to auto syndicate you. Its a cool way to build solid relationships with other bloggers in your niche too. Also, your membership truly could pay for itself very quickly with the right amount of effort. I personally know several marketers getting over 2,500 social shares within 5 minutes which is crazy and all actual social accounts. I know you said you weren't looking for massive backlinks at first, so you could start off with onlywire alone as a free member. The top Tribepro users syndicate to these sites, since there is no captcha code, so thats what I do as well: bebo delicious digg diigo myspace stumbleupon So that would be 6 backlinks per post. You can join Tribepro as a free member as well to get a feel for it, but I highly recommend using the upgraded memberships I stated above. Hope this helps! |

Auto Link Juicer by the two Jason's, Jason Katzenback and Jason Potash submits automatically to bookmarking sites as well as ping.fm sites on autopilot I believe. I have been meaning to take a look at this for my minisites. Web Traffic Genius, as mentioned is another option, although I really did not like the set up procedure. I had to use the cron job for many of my Websites and it took way to much time. RSS feeds still do add value, especially if you are targeting long tail keywords. They can also help mix up your link building profile. |

well if you write good stuff, the backlinks will come automatically from people linking to you. or syndicating your content and referencing the source. it really would be more beneficial to spend your time thinking about how you can provide value, than thinking about how to orchestrate backlinks. |

Thank you Ash. I used BMD in the past but found it too complex to set up and use on a daily basis. I have another social bookmarking program but find that the acceptance rate of a link on the site isn't high per campaign. Quote:

GJ- Thank you. I have used Onlywire in the past but found that I wasn't using it as often as I should so I went with a free tool that does the same thing. I really wish I'd see growth from RSS feed submitters but I'm not sure how much google weighs those links anymore. IMautomator is a free bookmarking site, if anyone is wondering, that gives about 150 free links each day (over 10 campaigns). Quote:

Your right though the price tag is hefty, probably best if you have multiple Websites to use it on.

As far as RSS feed submitters, if you're getting pingbacks, I would suggest pingback optimizer. I use that in conjunction with Article Marketing Robot to get to the top of Google, and Onlywire and TribePro to stay there a little longer lol I am in a pretty competitive niche and people are constantly out ranking me, so its kind of a battle... sad thing is I usually can get back to the top easily because of the drop out rate.. Moral of the story? Stick with it. ![]() Aside from that, I haven't tried the paid membership yet and if it does half of what it says it does, its a better value than AMR, Pingback Optimizer, TribePro and Onlywire put together... I gotta check it out sometime soon!
