|  How Does Video Submissions Help My SEO?
How does video submissions to multiple directories help in my SEO? Does a link on youtube video description consider a backlink? If yes, can I use a URL shortener or should I use the original link structure? I do not want to lose the link juice. Thanks!

Link in the description of YouTube videos are noFollow. You better optimize your channel as link here is doFollow. About URL shortener, it will still pass link juice as long as the shortener support 301 redirect, like bit.ly. |

In most video sharing sites you can put a link in the description and one dofollow link on your channel. Links on the description are nofollow but in my experience even nofollow links are valuable especially if they come from relevant to your site pages and have only a few outbound links which is the case on video sharing sites. Additionally most pages on video sharing sites are PR3+ so if you regularly upload videos you will certainly get a boost on your rankings. Another benefit from videos is that sites and pages with videos rank much easier on google since google loves videos so if you embed your videos on your site you it will be another plus on your On-Page Seo... About URL shortener it is better to use the original link structure. |

I think that video submission is a pure marketing tool and should be used for the branding of business it has nothing to do with SEO |

When we talk about geting traffic to a site video submission really contributes allot. Another thing is a good video quality it also helps for great traffic too. Left for shortner your link juice is well protected i don't think you will loose it. Best regards KELVIN WILLIAMS |
