Bad competition?

For some time I am using the serpiq keyword competition analyzer. I found a desired keyword for micro niche product, but here is what serpiq says:

There are 5 domains (engadget.com, engadget.com, cnet.com, pcmag.com, gizmodo.com) on the front page in the Alexa Top 1000. Sites in the Alexa Top 1000 are the most popular and authoritative sites in the world, and can frequently be difficult to outrank.

Indeed, do I have any chance?
