I Need Local SEO Advice/Services

Hello,

I have a small seo company and most of my clients are local companies. I have had a lot of success over the last year but a few of my clients just don't seem to budge. Here is the mix of link building I am typically using:

directory submission - national
directory submission - local/citations
social bookmarking
article marketing

Other Link Building Activities I use Sparingly:
blog comments
forum comments
press release

I am wondering if anyone has any advice on additional link building strategies that are effective specifically for local businesses. I haven't found a good company that does local directory/citation submissions well. They just don't seem to agrigate the information very well and they dont' seem to use the greatest directory lists. So if anyone has any advice on a local directory submission service and or any advice on how I can improve my local link building strategy I would GREATLY appreciate it.

You should update your strategy to account for the panda update.

Build more links from pages that you've posted up quality content. In addition to article marketing, post to blogs (private network w/ high PR is preferred), web 2.0 sites.

Also, integrate in more social proof. Set up a facebook page, collect facebook likes. Get g+ recommendations, tweets, posts from other microblogs, etc.

Well you can make squidoo pages and you can use social media like facebook to get lots of traffic and to increase online sales as well.

Always make sure that you have an interesting articles.

Local seo sevices are one of the best method or one of the best way of ranking a site on google.

Always make use of social networks because it generates allot of traffic for a site to rank NO 1 on the first page on google.

That's the easiest way around...

If there local businesses they would benifit from google places, you need catch up on the panda update.

If you are supplying seo for these businesses you need to offer them the very best service you can. That means building there online reputation.
